BIOGRAPHY

Andrew Lang is a composer & pianist from Adelaide, Australia. He combines influences from romantic, neoclassical & minimalist traditions, creating warm and intimate piano solos that take the listener inside of the piano. He released his debut album, Burnt Shades, in 2016, which was recorded on a creaky old church piano in the midst of winter.

“For” is the final track from Andrew Lang’s debut record, Burnt Shades. Sparse, delicate harmonies blend with the creaky, groaning sound of the old piano it was recorded on, make for a stunning and reflective end to a delicate & intimate record.
