Lucy Kong

Biography

Lucy Kong (nee Yeoman b. 1988) is a composer, producer and singer/songwriter based in Sydney. Since graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music majoring in Composition (1st Class Honours) in 2010, she has primarily worked as a song writer for Japanese Pop producer HΛL.

In addition to J-Pop production, Lucy has experience writing music for film and video games, contributing music for Sydney based independent game company Black Gull Studios as well as Creative Intelligence Arts in Japan. She has also collaborated with Australian Post Black Metal/Electronic band Germ, composing piano for the albums Loss and Grief.

Through all this she continues to maintain her keen interest in art music, being a featured composer for Cameron Lam’s Kammerklang Vox and Ablaze concerts (2010, 2014) and releasing her first solo Kammerklang album ElectroBloom in 2017.​
