Featured Works
Powderhorn Lake, for solo piano.
Powderhorn Lake is a work featuring the natural reverb of the sostenuto pedal on a ramshackle upright piano, recorded with a binaural recording technique (microphones were in my ears to create a 3D listening effect).. recorded at The Filter Lab, Minneapolis USA, with the window open, overlooking Powderhorn Lake where I worked during the recording.. you can hear the sound of passing planes and people in the park opposite the studio if you listen carefully..
