Biography
Stuart is a Sydney-born percussionist and composer. After completing his bachelor’s degree in performance at the University of New South Wales, he travelled to Glasgow where he is currently studying for a master’s degree in composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, under the tutelage of Stuart MacRae.
Stuart has written music for a diverse range of ensembles, including solo piano, solo percussion, guitar duo, clarinet quartet, wind quintet, handbell ensemble, and wind band. His works are often of a light-hearted or childlike nature, and have been performed by many amateur groups across Sydney.
