Show Notes

May Lyon is a Melbourne-based composer whose work wavers between complexity and simplicity, darkness and light. In this wide-ranging interview she speaks to interviewer Matthew Lorenzon about her interest in mathematics, anthropology, and how she stays focused while working in noisy cafes.

In the words of the composer:

“New music is important because if you lose new music, you lose history as well.”
