Biography
Naomi Weinroth (*1991) was born in the United States, where she studied at the Juilliard School before receiving her BA in Music from the University of Cambridge and going on to a DMus from the University of Auckland (studying under Eve de Castro-Robinson and Leonie Holmes). Her music has been performed across the USA, the UK, New Zealand and South Korea. She has also been the recipient of numerous awards and commissions, most recently the 2017 Douglas Lilburn Composition Prize at the University of Auckland. She has lived in New Zealand since 2013.

Flower Symphony (excerpt), for orchestra.
The recording presented here is a short excerpt of a large orchestral work in two movements, lasting approximately 30 minutes in total. This work (the Flower Symphony) was written as part of my doctoral submission between 2016 and 2018.
